It is hard to imagine how a specimen is so well preserved over the years. This extraordinary Gem is one of those great pieces that have been able to survive in immaculate state. This astonishing gold dollar piece has a survival estimate of a mere 600 in all grades. It is an exquisite premium Gem with great quality and fantastic eye appeal. Although its number of mintages suggests otherwise, the 1850 G$1 is massively rare in the state of this current example and higher grades. Do not miss your chance to obtain this fantastic coin that would be fitting of an amazing set of gold dollars or gold type coins. It will without a doubt attract any collector sought out for gold coins. It has neat strike details with bold definitions on both sides of the coin as it radiates with brilliance. An early struck piece with boundless luster seen with some die-polish.
NGC has POP of only 1 and 3 finer while CAC has only 3 finer. A PCGS comparable sale is at $6,600 05/23 HA, but it was not a plus grade. This astonishing piece has a condition census level example of an early date gold dollar and would be a very difficult one to just pass by.
