This 1908 No Motto Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle is one of only two years for the type and of only 3 - 1907 $20 NM, 1908 $20 NM and 1908-D $20 NM. Only a few are found in such good conditions as this one, much less with CAC and OGH. With only few marks to be found, the luster is very good all around. The surfaces display a frosty and satiny look. It is sharply and wonderfully preserved making it an uber attractive example. Encased in an Old Green Holder along with the approval of the CAC green bean, this could be graded higher in today's standards. With a $3,150 by CAC, this is a wonderful example that would make a fine addition to any gold type set.
