Antique 19th century Portuguese Majolica Palissy style plates by José A Cunha. Multi-dimensional wall plates featuring snakes, lizards, frogs, bugs, butterflies and more. An impactful art display when presented as a grouping. The various shades of greens and browns are predominant with accents of yellow. The plates bear the impressed maker's marks "José A. Cunha - Caldas Rainha". Each 9.5" in diameter and wired for hanging and part of a significant collection of Majolica of a single owner.
Plates will be very well packed and insured for shipment.
