1. Maintenance of Payment Information — In order to place a bid or list an item, you must have valid payment information stored in your profile. By providing your credit/debit card information to Caring Transitions, you irrevocably authorize Caring Transitions to charge your primary card on file for the total purchase amount of any winning bid plus any fees associated with the sale of the item, including but not limited to taxes, shipping, and handling fees.
2. Placing a bid is an agreement to purchase. If you bid, you MUST be available, or arrange for, the pickup of your purchases on the scheduled pickup date, unless you have made prior shipping arrangements. If you win, you are committed to purchasing and picking up your item(s) or making shipping arrangements.
3. If you default on your purchase, your bidding privileges will be revoked permanently. Do not bid if you do not plan to purchase. All items not picked up during the scheduled pick-up time will be considered abandoned and will be donated or resold. No refunds will be given.
4. Bring necessary tools and help for picking up large items. Loading assistance is NOT available. Some items may be located on a 2nd floor, basement or out-building.
5.Payment receipts are emailed to winning Bidders once the sale has completely closed and payment has been processed. In the event your items cannot be fully processed, full payment must be received within 24 hours, or your items will be resold, and your bidding privileges will be revoked. Full address for pickup will be on the winning bidders' invoices. If you do not receive a copy of your invoice via email, please log into your account on CTBIDs and visit invoices/receipts.
6.All invoices under five thousand dollars ($5,000) will be auto charged to the primary card on file in your user profile for the total amount. Purchases over five thousand dollars ($5,000) will require an auto charge of 10% of whatever the invoice total is. Remaining payment for those invoices must be handled between you and the Seller.
7. Shipping: Shipping is available at the Buyer's expense including a $10 handling fee. Please see Shipping Terms for additional details. NOT ALL LOTS CAN BE SHIPPED - NO SHIPPING ON FURNITURE, RUGS, OR OTHER LARGE ITEMS. *No shipping offered within a 25-mile radius!
8. All items must be paid for before they are picked up or shipped. Items to be shipped cannot be removed from the location without payment.
9. A 18% Buyer's Premium and 6.75% Sales Tax will be added to the final bid amount when invoiced.
10. We have made every effort to describe Lot items as accurately as possible. Expect normal signs of wear associated with antiques, vintage, and used items. We do not list every flaw. All items are sold AS IS and where is. No refunds or returns. Caring Transitions does not guarantee the working order of any clock, watch, electronic or mechanical device. Electronic have been plugged in and turned on, but NOT tested. Dimensions given may be approximate.
11.BID Retraction: If you request a retraction of a bid. ALL of your bids will be retracted. We will NOT retract bids within 30 minutes of auction close or after closure of sale.
12.Questions: ALL questions about items including flaws, originality of artwork, quality of jewelry, etc. MUST be asked BEFORE bidding. IF an item has shipped to you and you have any questions or concerns, you MUST report this within two (2) days.
