This solid oak piano was sold by the Junius Hart Company on Canal Street (building still stands) - they were the representative of the WW Kimball Company who manufactured the piano. Serial number is 102359. This company was in business at the turn of the 20th century - they not only made and sold pianos but were also a well known publisher of original music. This piano is complete - plays - WAAAYYY out of tune - the strikers are wooden (speaks to its age). Cabinet in excellent condition - the piano (which was descended through our client's family - will need some love, tuning, and likely a bit of rehab. A piece of New Orleans history. The new owner is totally responsible for moving/loading it themselves - we will not assist. it is very near the front door.
