This lot contains three stunning, nature inspired gold framed (all under glass) illustrations. The first is what appears to be a page out of Oliver Goldsmith’s book “A History of The Earth and Animated Nature”. It is in a lovely gold frame and on the back it is stamped with a sticker that says ‘Made in England by Gladstone and Elwyn-Jones’. There does appear to be some age spots on the illustration itself. There is hardware to hang it on the back. This item measures 12.5” x 16”. Next is another gold framed illustration of cherries. This lovely piece is not signed but does have hardware to be hung. It measures 10.25” x 12”. The last item is another gold framed illustration of Bloodroot (Sanguinaria canadensis). This piece measures 13.5” x 16.5” and does have hardware on the back to be hung.
