Framed Litho Of Civil War Soldier. Edition 12/500
The subject item is a limited edition lithograph black & white lithograph. The noted and listed artist, Harold T. Holden, poses the soldier, Corporal Noah Van Buren Ness, standing profile with his proper left foot on a large stone on the ground. In his right hand he carries his army-issued carbine pointed at the ground, and his military sword in his left hand too is posed resting on the rock. His care-worn face gives the impression of a well worn, Civil War veteran weary of battle. This lithograph was issued in 2000. Signed in the print and by the artist. Graphite lower left.
