Measuring : Length" 11" Height" 7" the side is one piece of bentwood that is held together by hand forged nails and hand forged hinges. The round lid with a skirt fits well. There is wear along the edges. nice patina. staining noted. It is sturdy. no cracks or loose wood. The candle box is an early primitive of 1/4" wood. four sided with a steeple back with a hole to hang. Used for candles but has many good uses. Length: 12" , width 7" Height : 6 " in the back and 3" in the front. the interior is stained. There are older chips out of the wood in the interior. Pin and square nail construction. The tin basket is hand made. could have been used as a measure. height with the handle :9" the basket lenght and width 10" by 5 1/2" .The basket has a tin footed base. to give it platform, It has discoloration from age. Needs a bit of a cleaning older and has good color.
