this set of oak queen anne style chairs are early. 19th century all hand constructed and mortise fiddle backs. carved and hand turned lathe legs. Originally may have had upholstered seats they were later redone with rush seats which was the style of the period of the mid 19th century. The height of the chairs is 40" in the back, length in the front of the chair is 19" the seat height is 18" and the seat themselves measure : 19" by 14" Natural patina and age. very good condition though two have slight unravel of a small part of the rush of the seat. The real antique.
