frosted glass body of the lamp has ridges which are painted gold and white tones. The base and top is a brushed brass. The shade is quality pleated pattern light beige fabric. I question if a designer lamp The painting on the lamp not very detail but it still is nice. also the shade may go better with another style lamp as it is more for a vintage style lamp..
