a sweet little red painted hand crafted stool , perfect to display two antique pantry boxes. ( one may have been painted later) the maple box has a piece of wood missing from the lid but its on the side and not creating an open area at the top ( see photo) the wooden salt box of round form with a lid and a back with a hole to hang is absolutely charming. nice darken patina , clean in the inside, and not cracks or damage noted, Height of the salt box is 11 1/2" Base is 5" and the width in the center around 6" the lid is held on by hand made cotter style hinges of heavy wire. the grain is very nice, Possibly tiger maple. The pantry boxes measure: 5" in height with a width of 8" the pine pantry box height 5" by width of 7 1/2" the pine box has a name stamped on the base. (see photo) . both are intact and in good condition. They are antique. The stool Length : 16" Height:10" Width :9" It is in fair condition. Sturdy and not loose wood etc . It has signs of wear and paint chipping. Rustic.
