This lot appears to be an Indonesian Golek Wayang wooden rod puppet. This stunning piece seems to be made out of wood that is intricately carved. She has twine rope joints at her shoulder and elbows and rods attached to her hands for expressive movement. She is ornately painted and has a skirt and bedazzled apron made out of fabric. There is a small crack on her shoulder and the edge of her skirt has a hole and is a bit frayed. She measures approximately 5” x 7” x 33”H with rods and 22”H for just puppet. Shipping Available.
