This stunning large plate could certainly be considered a sculpture and has an industrial brutalist effect with its ripped clay holes and added texture. The owner of this estate states this is by David Van Wynsberghe, but no paperwork included and the stamped initials do appear to read EB. Hand carved words along the rim read TAKE NOSTALGIA FURTHER and DRAWING ON PETE and #6. Plate measures 16.5” x 3”H. Comes with the metal stand.
