Nikon 28mm f:2.8(22) (35mm) Series 'E' AI-S (later iteration) compact wide angel lens for landscapes, interior architecture and close in photography. It will work with Nikon's better digital cameras in manual and aperture priority AE modes if you don't mind manual focusing. It is a very handy and compact lens at only 1.6” long and 5.3 ozs. This later and more desirable variant was an upgrade from the original model with it's metal 'F' lens mount, matte chrome metal barrel, focus ring w/rubber grip surface & windowed DoF markings. This is still a very popular field lens today due to it's super sharp high quality multi-coated Nikon optics, inherent corner to corner sharpness, low distortion and reasonably fast speed.
