Rare find! Hand made 900 silver bowl by Karl Schibensky. Hammered silver bowl with three pad ball feet. Decorated with a series of 3 wavy lines at 4 intervals around the bowl. Measures +- 4 3/8" across at the rim and stands +- 1 5/8" tall. Weighs +- 83 gm. Sides of the bowl feature the silversmith's hammer marks as part of the design. the base of the bowl has some small dings. The rim has a few very minor dings that frankly, are hard to differentiate from the hammer work. Base shows the makers name and mark, German moon and crown 900 hallmarks. Date of this bowl is unknown. This maker is very well known for his jewelry. I have never seen this type of silver work by him. USPS Ground Advantage shipping available for $10.
