decorated with dogwood flowers on a cream background is an antique pottery berry set made during the late 19th century at the Pauline pottery factory. A rare set. The set consists of a 9 1/2" fluted bowl with six arches, height is 2 - 21/2" The edge is enhanced with gold colored paint. (wear to paint. The dogwood flowers are a lovely cranberry hued color with olive green foliage. The base has an underglazed crown mark of Pauline Pottery and a number 89 there are five 5 1/2" bowls of "shell" thin pottery decorated with dogwood flowers . The backside of the bowls are glazed with olive green and one or two have a hue of blue green underglaze. Condition: there is slight crazing to the glaze on the larger bowl. typical with age. a couple of the bowls have very small chips to the rims on the base. (see photos) slight crazing to the glaze. very slight. all the 5 1/2" bowls have the crown mark and the number 88 with one having the number 89 very well cared for and was in a showcase for many years
