10" toby style pitcher Pittsville pottery -Pittsville Pottery was started by a Catholic priest named John Willitzer. ( a German immigrant) Seeking industry for his local parish in Pittsville, Wisconsin, This pottery was not in production very long hindered by the Great Depression, but John Willitzer was persistent and had a passion for art and to help his community. The pottery factory eventually merged with Muncie Pottery. This rare Toby style pitcher or mug has a height of 10" and is in very good condition.
