This auction lot is for a Vintage Cherokee Pottery Vase. This vase was made by the Louisville Pottery Company in the early 1900s. This vase is black and sports a "firing fart" on one side. This is place where either the clay or glaze did not meld and has a roughness unlike the rest of the piece. Some folks particularly love this aspect of handmade pottery. See photos for size.
