We are a family owned shop that is not your traditional thrift shop. We offer estate downsizing, estate clean outs, and estate sales. We provide moving assistance to storage, from storage, and within the home. We provide free delivery within X amount of miles from the shop, we offer delivery outside of X amount of miles with a small delivery fee, we act as a 3rd party to pickup and deliver to your location if you get something elsewhere. We take in donations but we also make donations to individuals, families, and other organizations in need. We enjoy being able to help those who are in need of assistance with household items and personal care products as we can. We also seek out specific items that people are searching for. We charge 30% for just an estate sale, or 40% for an estate sale with a clean out. After an estate sale with a whole house clean out, we DO NOT send items to the landfill, but we take all items leftover, and we donate to those in need. We also provide sweeping and vacuuming of the floors. Once we are done, the home is ready for its next steps. Many estate companies charge 40% for a sale with NO clean out, or 40% for a sale and charge a separate fee for a clean out, which can be costly to the client. Some companies will tell you that the first X amount of money made is theirs, which in the end, the company makes more and the client walks away with change. To us, the client ALWAYS comes first!
We typically run sales on Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. If it is a very large home and a second sale is needed for another weekend, it will be counted as a whole new sale. We also understand that when having a sale that the items being sold are not just "Things", but they are people's memories, and the home and all items will be treated respectfully.
We ask that before you choose just anyone to run a sale for you, your family, etc., check to see what they offer in terms of fees, cleaning, and most of all, honesty and putting the client first. If you should choose to go with another company but at the end of the sale you're not happy with the outcome and there's so many great items leftover, contact us and we would be more than happy to do a Re-do sale for you and get you as much as we can by selling as much as we can at lower prices. For a re-do sale, we do a 50/50 split for coming in after another estate company, because we are simply cleaning up a mess. You ask, "why a 50/50 split?" Well, if you were contacting us for a clean out, 1 you would be paying for us to clean out the home with many great usable items, which some we might resell, which means we technically make more. We would rather take the opportunity to readjust the prices, have a 2nd sale in order to get you more money, plus clean out everything in the end, in order to take as much stress away from you and your family.
