Heroes is an American superhero drama television series created by Tim Kring that appeared on NBC for four seasons from September 25, 2006 to February 8, 2010. The series tells the stories of ordinary people who discover that they have superhuman abilities and how these abilities take effect in the characters' lives as they work together to prevent catastrophic futures. The series emulates the aesthetic style and storytelling of American comic books, using multi-episode story arcs that build upon a larger, more encompassing narrative. Isaac Sidney Caesar (September 8, 1922 – February 12, 2014) was an American comic actor and writer. With a career spanning 60 years, he was best known for two pioneering 1950s live television series: Your Show of Shows (1950-1954), which was a 90 minute weekly show watched by 60 million people and its successor, Caesar's Hour (1954-1957), both of which influenced later generations of comedians.[1] Your Show of Shows and its cast received seven Emmy nominations between the years 1953 and 1954 and tallied two wins.
