My client was a British ex-pat who was an expert on the Napoleonic Wars and many other aspects of British Military History. He was an avid reenactor, collector, and maker of reenactment costumes and gear, many times using antique elements that he obtained from abroad. This little banner is a work of art, commemorating Price Albert's Own Hussars and noting their involvement in the following campaigns: Penninsula, Sulamanca, Waterloo, and Bhurtpore. Measures 14" x 11" I honestly can't tell if this is original or a partial re-pop using antique elements - he was THAT good. I believe it is old, but I'll let the buyer be the judge. SO - we are making no claims as to date of manufacture or authenticity - know what you are buying. 17 / 612 sold -

This wonderful vintage (English) bear is so sweet - pretty sure he is made of mohair, jointed, head turns. There is a "growler" inside his chest but it appears to no longer be working. His little pads have been loved bare. He is clean and measures 18" long. Good vintage condition. You'll love him! 55 / 612 sold -

My client scoured the auction catalogs from the prestigious European auction house that specialized in militaria - they sell the best of the best. Profusely illustrated in color with descriptions (in German) and approximate values, these books are indispensable reference guides to all sorts of antique militaria, especially Third Reich items, which are not allowed to be sold online in many countries. You get three different catalogs from 2002/2003 here. 99 / 612 -
