this box is all hand grain painted on four sides. Very nicely done It is early grain painting on this 14" by 7" by 8" box with a early lock set. The lock doesn't work and does not have a key. The hand painting on the top was done later but is very well done in folk art painted style. Love the little hewn log house and two folk art style figurines of lady and man. forested background.

The wood has age chips and wear and the wood is a darker color from age and use . Meausures : 22" by 14" by 6 1/2" in height. The bowl has an older red paint on the exterior . a rustic looking piece. Some wood chipping on the edges. The maple grain scoop is the best I have seen, Hand carved out and nice patina and no chips at all. the spoon is wonderful at 18" long and the bowl of the spoon is 4 1/2" by 3 1/2" all hand carved. The grater is wooden with a metal blade to grate. pin nail construction natural patina.
