Artist: Martin Whatson Title: Sneak Peek 12 hour open edition. Deadstock. Giclee with 7 Colour Screen Print On 300 Gsm Somerset satin Paper. 50 x 25 cm. Stamped by Martin Whatson & Graffitiprints. Comes with Certificate Of Authenticity Paper embossed around the crack for a 3D effect with the graffiti in the background. Martin Whatson (b.1984) is a Norwegian street artist best known for his calligraphic scribbles in grayscale voids. Over the past decade, Martin has developed an unmistakable aesthetic combining abstract movement with figurative stencilled compositions. His works can be seen to mirror the rise and fall of the streets, as he symbolically recreates the urban environment, then vandalises it to reveal his vibrant transformations. Growing up in Oslo Norway, Martin was an active part of the emerging graffiti scene of the early 90s which at the time maintained zero tolerance. The physical architecture of the city was a constant inspiration, the elaboration and destruction of each generation contributing to the urban infrastructure. The same deconstructive processes can be seen in his creative influences of Jose Parla and Cy Twombly. In the early 2000s, this interest in layers became more literal with the introduction of stencils into his work. The evolution moved him closer to a simple yet effective aesthetic he believed could bridge the gap between the passion and spontaneity Graffiti held for him, with the fragility and transience of nature. This balance would come to define his creative approach. With as many works on walls as on canvas and paper, the relationship between vulnerability and strength remains constant in each work. Delicate and organic characters feature; butterflies, ballerinas and animals all rendered in empty grayscale space. Almost stylised, these minimal figures are constructed of a few layers of hand-cut stencils. The ashen tones of the compositions and vacant backgrounds are reminiscent of his alternative canvases, the concrete. True to form, no gray space stays gray for long in Martins presence. whether immersing entirely or embellishing a detail, the images disappear beneath expressive, spray-painted strokes of assorted colours and textures. Martins work features with festivals, projects and walls globally. His original work can be found in private collections and institutions with solo exhibitions featured in cities from Tokyo to LA, London to New York. 408 / 776 -

Artist: Ernesto Yerena Montejano Title: Baldwin Letterpress Print 11 x 14 inches Edition of 250. Letterpress Print Printed by the legendary Aardvark Letterpress. Signed and Numbered by Ernesto Yerena Montejano. Who Is Ernesto Yerena Montejano? Ernesto Yerena Montejano was born in El Centro, CA, a mid- sized farming town bordering Mexicali, BC, MX. Fueled by his cross-national upbringing, his art practice reflects his observations of the views and interactions between the Mexican communities living on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. The artist shares narratives of his conflicts of identity that he feels are kindred to what many Chicanos of these communities experience. Although Yerena identifies as Chicano he also strongly identifies as Native/Indigenous to this continent which is often seen in his work. His work depicts his frustrations with the oppression in his community as well as creating work in solidarity with the community in the defense of dignity and rights. Through his brazen imagery, the artist brings political concerns to light with subject matter that depicts cultural icons, rebels and everyday people voicing their stance against oppression. In 2008 Yerena created the Hecho Con Ganas publishing project in which he produces politically and socially conscience images that are produced in limited edition silkscreen prints. Highly recognized for his activism, Yerena is the founder and curator of the Alto Arizona Art campaign (2010) as well as a founding member of the We Are Human campaign (2009). Yerena has collaborated on many thought provoking projects which include artists Zack de la Rocha, Shepard Fairey, Manu Chao, Ana Tijoux, Philip Lumbang, Jaque Fragua, Diane Ovalle, Chuck D, and Mochilla. 427 / 776 -

Artist: Bue the Warrior Title: Out Of The Bue Type: 3-Color Screen Print on 290gsm Coventry Rag Fine Art Paper Size: 12 x 16 Inches Release: September 23, 2019 Run of: 35 The artwork is signed, numbered and with a Certificate of Authenticity ABOUT BUE THE WARRIOR: After meeting two graffiti artists on the bus back in 1991 who handed him a few spray cans, Bue got so hooked on the streets, he never stopped painting. For over 20 years he has been doing what he loves best: introducing colour and positive energy into the places that need it most. He finds his satisfaction from putting smiles on people's faces, or giving them a heartwarming feeling. - Tristan Manco Bue travels around the world to find new exiting places and lets the environment influence his work. His paintings and interventions are always inspired by the direct surroundings of the wall or by the people he meets on the road. His disarming colourful characters brighten up the streets all over Europe, Mexico, Brazil, the United States and even Vietnam. They continue his interaction with the locals and cause smiles as long as they remain. Often these encounters are momentary, but always affectionate and much appreciated. Bues genuine curiosity and love for all living creatures also results in numerous collaborations with other artists from around the world. The fun of creating something together and the exchange of thoughts are the main motives to paint pieces which are more than just a sum of artists works. Frequent collaborations include artists like Roa (Ghent) Chase (L.A.), Highraff (Sao Paulo), Remed (Lille), Jeanspezial (Paris), Low Bros (Berlin), Smithe (Mexico City) and Dhear (Mexico City). Besides the streets Bue dedicates his designs to different creative projects such as HeyHey Apps, Toykyo Kids, White Canvas Project, Lin Fashion Art Project and many independent collaborations with artists from various areas such as plush design (cfr. Felt Mistress & Piti Piti). His recognizable style creates a playful and naive scenery that invites everyone to remember the unaffected and pure spirit we all own as a child. Bues work doesnt try to teach, but its a smile, a wink, a high five, that wants to be returned. 435 / 776 -

Artist: Jeff Gillete Title: Mickey Billboard Plastic Signed by artist on lower right. 13 x 19 inches 2021 Jeff Gillette examines the aesthetic structures and visual patterns of human settlement, specifically that of shantytown style slums in India and South America. To the artist, there is something ineffable behind the obviously chaotic and desperate appearance of these places - a universality of human spirit and a strange beauty which comes out of the necessity and raw honesty of the will to survive. Despite the seriousness of his observations, Gillette sees ironic and amusing juxtapositions that occur when Disney, corporate logos, and pop icons from consumer culture shows up as building blocks of shanty settlement construction. His works reflect these ironies as well as add a playful dimension to art historical relationships. Jeff Gillette has been profiled by KCET Artbound in Los Angeles, as a follow up after he participated in Banksy's "Dismaland"in Weston-super-Mare, UK. CNN interviewed Jeff on video about his involvement. Channel 4 also has a segment featuring Jeff. 440 / 776 -

Artist: Jeff Gillette Title: Art in Action - Blek Le Rat I Run of: 100. Type: Archival Pigment Print on 290gsm Moab Entrada Fine Art Paper. Size: 16 x 20 Inches This RUN comes signed & numbered by Jeff Gillette and with a Certificate of Authenticity. ARTIST STATEMENT I am from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. In the late 1980s I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Nepal for two years. During this two-year stint, I visited every major city in India, finding myself exploring the huge slums found there. On my return to home, I moved from the Mid-West to escape the snow to teach High School Art in Orange County, California. Since finishing my MFA at Cal State Fullerton, I have been exhibiting in galleries both at home and abroad. My work is most often landscapes. A major portion of my output is paintings of slums of the developing world, where I often add an element of western cultural privilege (and oblivion) into settings of urban blight. Inspiration for what I call 'Slumscapes' comes from first-hand experience travelling. Most often I return over and over to my favorite destination: India. In the vast poverty-stricken fringes of its vast megalopolises I trip out on how the economic disparities are obscenely extreme. Ive been spending a lot of time in Mumbai slums: photographing, filming, creating Plein Aire paintings and creating interactive street art. Besides depicting slums, my artwork portrays post-apocalyptic debris fields, landfills, and detritus-cluttered deserts. The Juxtaposition of Disney themes and beloved characters (i.e.: Mickey Mouse) with all these dystopias best conveys my personal views. Pondering contemporary social, political, economical and philosophical conundrums, I cant help but feel absurdly helpless, pessimistic and humored about the future of Western Civilization. 443 / 776 -

Otto Schade (1971) - Ribboned Bart (sky blue) Hand signed - 25 - 2020 Otto Schade is a well known graffiti artist holding exhibitions around the world. Originally from Chile he now lives and works out of London. Bart Ribboned is a screen print modeled on a street piece where Otto has spray painted a Bart Simpson using his signature ribbons. Four layered screen print on 300 gsm paper. Artist: Otto Schade Year produced: 2020 Edition: 09/25 Size: 52 x 41 cm Condition: As new Who is Otto Schade? Otto Schade, also known as Osch, was born in Chile on October 30 1971. The Chilean artist, takes us to this ethereal world that teeters between the surreal and abstract, opening his audiences mind to the oniric. Otto Schades journey as a prominent artist inspired by the great Dali, Magritte and Miro started with his blossoming career as both an architect and urban sculptor. From this arose a passion for painting, which he has been partaking in since 1996. This ardor for the art itself has resulted in various solo exhibits around the world from Chile, Germany, the United States, England, Japan, the Netherlands, Russia and Paris. Otto Schades paintings consist of two main types: those based in the surreal and those that are abstract in nature. When painting, his preferred mediums are canvas, paper, boards, and walls. He has also experimented with collages and graffiti, which are so impeccably clean, detailed, and well-defined due to his intricate use of coloring, shading, and line work. It is this complex use of lines that brings to life the specific image being depicted in his work, whether it be a simple figure to more iconic images such as Andy Warhols Campbells soup can. Otto Schade utilizes both bright and darker color palettes to highlight his image, delving into more personal and metaphorical figures while incorporating sharp, ironic touches throughout.Otto Schade left Chile in 2005 and took his vibrant art to England, in Londons district of Shoreditch, where most of his work constisted in communicating anti-war messages in his trademark ribbon style. Since then, Otto Schades art has been recognised around the globe. He has participated in renowned art festivals, including the Artbase Festival in Neustrelitz, Germany (2019) and Upfest in Bristol, England (2015). His pieces have been exhibited in the USA, South America, Africa, Asia and many cities across Europe. It is obvious that Otto Schade is fascinated with the surreal as well as the freedom that is granted through abstract painting. While sound techniques such as stretched canvas and oil painting are often used on his end, Otto Schade is as daring as his dreams appear, veering off the path of the expected by utilizing other artistic methods to his advantage such as unique collage work and more modern stenciling and illustrations. In the end, his passion becomes our own as he takes us to a world where dreams are truly made of. 461 / 776 -

Cleon Peterson (1973) - Without Law There Is No Wrong Silkscreen / Serigraph - Hand signed - 100 - 2019 His paintings showing Donald Trump attacking American democracy are very visionary. It depicts police brutality, coup d'Etat and human violence. He was influenced by Leon Golub, Paul McCarthy and Mike Kelley. In 2009, he obtained his first solo exhibition in Los Angeles and became an international artist. In 2014, he created a 50-m murals at the Palais de Tokyo. Coventry Rag 290 gsm paper, with fringed edges Signed and numbered by the artist. One of the top selling current Los Angeles artists. With an aesthetic rooted in graphic design and a style reminiscent of Greco-Roman vases, Cleon Petersons art depicts a world in which deviance is the norm and violence, sex, and drugs bring a hollow pleasure. A former drug addict who initially struggled to recover, Peterson does not rely on symbolism or allusion, as many other artists do; instead he depicts a chaotic and chilling reality police brutality, stabbings, and strangulation. Influenced by Leon Golub, Paul McCarthy, and Mike Kelley, Peterson portrays a world in which hostility and violence are rendered senseless and without context. 470 / 776 -

Ernesto Yerena Montejano was born in El Centro, CA, a mid- sized farming town bordering Mexicali, BC, MX. Jeff Gillette - Split Mickey Ferris Wheel. Print. Hand Signed by the artist Jeff Gillette. 13" x 19" (paper), 11.25 x 18" (image). 2017 Sold Out Edition. ARTIST STATEMENT "I am from the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. - Jeff Gillette 482 / 776 -

- Jeff Gillette 486 / 776 -
