The subject item is a rare and wonderful porcelain piece of Hungarian art pottery inspired by the work of Zsolnay. We cannot verify it is actually by this studio. a company established in 1853 by Miklos Zsolnay, whose pieces won prestigious prizes such as The Grand Prixe at the World Fair in Paris in 1878 for its art pottery.
